By downloading or using FamilyVoiceDiary (“the App”), you agree to the following Terms of Use.
1. Use of the App
The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the App without prior written permission from the developer.
2. Pro Version / In-App Purchase
The App may offer an optional paid Pro upgrade, which can unlock features including:
- removal of advertisements
- longer recording time limits
- increased or unlimited number of recordings
- upcoming Pro-only features
All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store and are non-refundable except where required by law.
3. Responsibility for Recordings
Users are solely responsible for:
- obtaining consent from people being recorded
- complying with local recording and privacy laws
- how recordings and transcripts are used or shared
4. Speech Recognition Disclaimer
Transcription accuracy is best-effort and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
5. No Medical or Legal Advice
The App is not a medical, legal, or diagnostic tool.
Do not rely on recordings or transcripts as sole evidence or professional advice.
6. Intellectual Property
All UI design, icons, text, and source code are the intellectual property of the developer.
7. No Warranty
The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:
- uninterrupted operation
- complete accuracy of transcripts
- prevention of data loss
8. Limitation of Liability
The developer is not liable for damages arising from:
- use or inability to use the App
- data loss caused by user actions or device failure
- transcription mistakes
9. Changes to These Terms
Terms may be updated periodically.
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

1. Core Privacy Principle
We designed this app with privacy first:

👉 開発者による収集・閲覧・送信は行いません
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
The App does not collect:
- 氏名・メールアドレスなどの個人情報
- 録音データ
- トランスクリプト（文字起こし結果）
- 位置情報
- 連絡先や写真
We do not operate servers for storing your data.
3. Audio & Transcript Storage
Your recordings and transcripts:
- are stored locally on your device only
- are controlled entirely by you
- are deleted if you delete them in-app
- are also deleted when you uninstall the app
4. On-Device Speech Recognition
Speech-to-text processing is performed on device whenever available.
👉 Audio is not uploaded to any external server by the app
👉 We do not access, transmit, or store your voice data
5. In-App Purchases
Payments are processed securely by Apple.
We do not collect or store:
- credit card numbers
- billing information
6. Advertisements (Free Version Only)
The free version may show ads.
Ad providers may use anonymous identifiers for ad delivery.
No audio content is shared with ad providers.
7. Children’s Privacy
The app is intended for use by parents and families.
It is not designed for direct use by children without supervision.
8. Data Retention
Since your data remains on your device:
- we do not retain it on servers
- uninstalling the App deletes local data
